Lake Dillon Fire to honor firefighters and staff on Saturday, March 1

 

Nine firefighters and staff members of Lake Dillon Fire-Rescue will be honored with longevity and achievement awards in a dress-uniform ceremony on Saturday in Frisco.

The honorees are:

  • Engineer Jeremy Antemesaris: 10 years
  • Engineer Doug Beeler: 10 years
  • Lt. Jason Bell: 15 years
  • Board member and Fire Corps leader Jim Cox: 10 years
  • Fire Corps member Maggie Cox: 10 years
  • Systems Administrator Carlina Duggan: Master’s degree
  • Capt. Tyson Houston: Fire Officer Designation
  • Fleet Service Manager Randy Miller: 5 years
  • Lt. Brian Schenking: 15 years

“We are looking forward to establishing this awards ceremony as an annual event,” said Lake Dillon Fire Chief Dave Parmley. “It is important to take the time to properly honor and recognize those who have achieved professional degrees or certifications through higher education or have served our citizens with longevity of service through dedication and a commitment to excellence, as well as those whose performance is worthy of special recognition.”

The awards ceremony will be from noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday at the Frisco Community Center, 110 S. Granite Street, and it is open to the public.
